After a gestational reporting period two to 3 month, a offspring of one to four is birth. Weaning occurs at one month, and kittens embark hunting on their own at six months. The minors leave their father at 12 months .
The serval wishes areas with cover such as reeds and towering grass and proximity to ocean forms, such as wetlands and savannah. It is rare in northern Africa and the Sahel, but pervasive in southern Africa. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and National resources( IUCN) classifies the serval as least relate.
