The Serval Cat also known as the tierboskat, is a wild feline may be in Africa. After a gestational period of two to three months, a offspring of one to four is stand. Weaning occurs at one month, and kittens begin hunting on their own at six months. The teenagers leave their father at 12 months .

It is rare in northern Africa and the Sahel, but widespread in south Africa.
