The Serval Cat also known as the tierboskat, is a wild feline found in Africa. The youths leave their mom at 12 months .

The serval prefers areas with cover such as reeds and towering grasses and close proximity to liquid organizations, such as wetlands and savannahs. It is rare in northern Africa and the Sahel, but widespread in southern Africa. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and National resources( IUCN) classifies the serval as least fear. It occurs in protection areas across its assortment, and hunting of servals is either vetoed or regulated in several countries .
