The Serval Cat also known as the tierboskat, is a wild feline found in Africa. The adolescents leave their father at 12 months .

The serval wishes areas with spread such as reeds and towering grasses and proximity to water forms, such as wetlands and savannah. It is rare in northern Africa and the Sahel, but widespread in south Africa. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and National resources( IUCN) categorizes the serval as least headache. It occurs in protected areas across its range, and hunting of servals is either vetoed or regulated in several countries .
