The Serval Cat also known as the tierboskat, is a wild cat may be in Africa. The minors leave their mom at 12 months .

The serval opts areas with handle such as reeds and tall grass and proximity to liquid figures, such as wetlands and savannahs. It is rare in northern Africa and the Sahel, but pervasive in southern Africa. The International Union for the Conservation of Nature and National resources( IUCN) categorizes the serval as least concern. It occurs in protection areas across its range, and hunting of servals is either prohibited or regulated in several countries .
